I was a 10 years old child.
I lived in Soweto.... with my friends we played soccer...in the street with no shoes on.
I was running like crazy and about to score.
Then a white man showed up suddenly...he took the ball.
Said that we should'nt have fun as we were black.
Nonsense to him.
Nonsens playing
I could not answer I was so afraid.
He said he would give me back my ball if I could read a sentence in the paper.
I couldnt read. I did not know how.
So he left . With the ball
And I cried Hard.
